The HoMedics AntiGravity recliner is moderately priced and seems pretty stylish. You will find 4 diverse models to pick out from ranging in price from close to $250 to $380. But does the chair deliver a good rub and do the more expensive models give you an excellent shiatsu stroke as HoMedics inform us it does? Perfectly, the massager is beneficial but you will find some items I'm not also keen on.
When I 1st observed the HoMedics zero gravity outdoor recliner it reminded me a minor of Elvis; you realize how persons say he had a gorgeous profile but when face on was much less appealing? Well, that's specifically what I thought when I 1st saw it. It is challenging to put into words what I mean exactly but I'll test.
From the side, this specific HoMedics rub chair seems sleek and really nicely proportioned. The black, faux leather upholstery along with the modern day head rest give it a quite contemporary appear general. But, as you walk all over for the front, the proportions look to go a little askew. The back again from the seat just seems a tiny too wide as well as the footrest a small too narrow. It would look much better if the leading was thinner and each the best and bottom halves from the seat had the same width. But, I can reside with how it appears, I guess.
What I like less could be the company's advertising and marketing pitch. Its definitely does go on about its 'antigravitational properties' and how you sit in it in exactly exactly the same way as NASA astronauts do when blasting off to who is aware where. For that ordinary man about the street, what it genuinely means by 'antigravity' is always that when entirely reclined, your ankles and feet are slightly extra elevated than your head. That is undeniable a comfy placement for several, so why the company couldn't just say this and spare us the NASA techie stuff, I do not know. It just kind of insults my intelligence.
The model I sat in was the cheapest design, the AG-2101. It comes with 10 motors that provide you with a vibrating massage. I was a little disappointed with it. Nowadays a vibrating stroke can appear old fashioned or inexpensive when in comparison to the chairs that provide you with kneading, tapping, rolling and even shiatsu massages. Apart from, I don't find a vibrating massage quite calming; surely not when compared to some chair that kneads you up and down your spine. Anyhow you will find 8 programs to pick from as properly as Three massage speeds.
I understand the much more pricey models (AG-3000, AG-3001 and AG-3000S) do give a much better rub; there's kneading, rolling, tapping as well as shiatsu. I doubt if the shiatsu stroke is as much as significantly nevertheless, not when you're only paying about $380; a chair that provides you anywhere near a fantastic shiatsu massage expenses from about $1,800. In case you can, attempt out a Sanyo rub chair; it truly does provide you with a excellent shiatsu stroke.
Up to now I may have provided the impression that I do not like the chair, but this would be incorrect. Really I do like it. I think it does appear stylish (despite the front view) plus the rub you receive is okay and at a price that's very great. An additional thing I love about this HoMedics rub chair is that you receive heat. I do like heat with my rub along with the chair offers it to me in which I love it most, in the lower lumbar region.
Would I suggest the HoMedics anti gravity lounge chair? Probably. To my mind it's a seat for all those who want some sort of soothing rub, but don't want to commit thousands of dollars and who want a chair which is little, classy and doesn't 'take over' the living room.
